Water Efficient Appliances Usage
Universitas Andalas has implemented water-saving equipment, such as hand washing stations with automatic taps at Universitas Andalas Hospital, and low-flush toilets that are almost applied in all buildings on the Universitas Andalas. Research on the Identification and design of water-saving plumbing equipment for Universitas Andalas is ongoing.

To evaluate the effectiveness of the use of water-saving equipment, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Unand has allocated research funds on the identification and design of water-saving plumbing equipment in office buildings.
