Campus Buildings Area

Universitas Andalas has total campus building area 722.994 m². Unand provides rectorate, auditorium, convention hall, library, shared lecture rooms (A-I buildings), basic and central laboratory, mosque, student creativity center, and 16 faculties. These faculties are Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Mathematics & Natural Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social & Political Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Nursing Faculty, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Information Technology, and Postgraduate. Furthermore, there are 168 shared lecture rooms (lecture halls, classrooms, project rooms). These lecture rooms are offered for 16 faculties and one diploma. There are 3 types of lecture rooms; small lecture rooms with a maximum capacity of 40 students, huge classroom with 40-60 students capacity, and lecture theatre rooms that may facilitate over one hundred students. Each building is devoted to lecturing (i.e. building A-I). Many buildings (i.e. Building I, E, F) are equipped with advanced equipment for seminar rooms that are typically used for events like seminars, workshops, and others.
